fcitx-table-ipa-x-sampa software package provides Flexible Input Method Framework - IPA-X-SAMPA table, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fcitx-table-ipa-x-sampa
fcitx-table-ipa-x-sampa is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fcitx-table-ipa-x-sampa package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fcitx-table-ipa-x-sampa *
You will get with fcitx-table-ipa-x-sampa package name, version, architecture and description in a table
